The Magnificence of West Africa Diversity Tour

Ballet Brika West African Dance Theatre based in Fort Lauderdale, FL in collaboration with Paradise Wellness are excited to be traveling to the West African countries of Senegal and Guinea between December 6, 2014 and January 4, 2015 and we hope you will join us. For this tour, we want to bring together a group of like-minded people who share a genuine love of adventure and African culture. *Space on this tour is limited. To reserve your a place for yourself, a deposit of $300.00 US is required by April 15, 2014. This deposit allows us to begin working on your behalf and is non refundable. You may pay the total cost of your trip off at any time through October 1, 2014 Guests who wish to pay for their trip in installments may do so in 6 equal installments. The total balance must be paid in full by October 1, 2014.

 

Trip Preparation: A 3-month Tourist Visa is required for both Senegal and Guinea. We will assist with these applications well in advance. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in Senegal and Guinea.Yellow Fever vaccination is required for entry into both Senegal and Guinea. Further travel medicines are recommended. Please speak to your doctor about immunizations for Senegal and Guinea, and commence these well in advance. Anti-Malaria medication is strongly recommended.At the time of booking, detailed information about the trip and necessary preparation will be sent via e-mail. Please advise us of any special requirements, e.g. eating requirements or allergies.

PACKAGE OPTION 3: GUINEA (only) DECEMBER 21, 2014 - JANUARY 2, 2015

COST: $700

Home base for our Guinea visit will be the prefecture of Boffa. Boffa is a town and fishing port in western Guinea. It is mainly inhabited by the Baga and Susu (Soussou) peoples. The town is the chief trading center for fish, swamp rice, bananas, and palm oil and kernels. Once a collecting point for slaves, it became a French trading post in the 1860s and was an important exporter (1870–1914) of wild rubber
